Neither Avalanche nor Cosmos nor Polkadot are monolithic Blockchains. All three chains are split between the network layer, consensus layer and the actual App-Chain layer (like VMs). Avalanche in particular, offers the concept of subnets consisting of single VMs pulled together into a set of validators and even the primary network as based on 3 different "sub chains" (P-chain, X-chain, C-Chain as EVM based chain for smart contracts).

You should consider this in your graphics as they are wrong.
