This is not true. The reason why there are not auctions available yet for Polygon has nothing to do with Polygon itself. OpenSea is responsible to add this functionality and refused to do so until now for Polygon. Auctions are nothing provided by a blockchain and instead requires several work both on backend side and/or smart contract side. While OS did so for Ethereum itself, it did not for Polygon so far.
